The Person Behind the Work

Where It Started
Malos began as something entirely different. At 15, I dreamed of building MALOS - Modern Apartment Linker Online Service, a platform to connect tenants with apartments and help landlords manage properties across Rwanda. I knew nothing about coding then. Years later, I acquired the skills, built it, and that project taught me more about software and real user problems than anything I had ever studied.
The Name
As I built that platform, something unexpected happened. The name stuck with me. 'Malos' had a ring to it - short, memorable, and strong. More than just an acronym for a property app, it felt like a name that could carry something bigger. So when the idea of building a broader technology company began to take shape in my mind, the name was already there waiting.
The Vision
I founded Malos with a scope far beyond apartment listings. The vision was, and still is, a full-spectrum technology company: software development, hardware solutions, and everything in between. A company that could meet businesses wherever they are in their digital journey and build exactly what they need, from the ground up.
Today
Today, Malos is no longer an acronym. It is a standard, a brand, and a promise. Based in Kigali, Rwanda, we work with clients across Africa and beyond - crafting web, mobile and desktop applications, maintaining critical systems, and consulting on technology strategy. Every project we take on carries the same energy that went into that first apartment platform: curiosity, craft, and a genuine desire to build things that work.
